I think that implementing educational video games in schools could be beneficial to students by making learning more interactive. However, only to a certain extent. Books still need to be used because if students only used video games, they will become too addicted. Many students are already obsessed with video games at home and I don't think schools should encourage it. As long as these video games are not used too often, however, they could help students learn more.

10 Things I Hate About You, starring Julia Stiles, Heath Legder, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Larisa Oleynik, is a modern day remake of the Shakespeare play "The Taming of the Shrew". Set in a high school, a new transfer student, Cameron, develops a crush on Bianca, the popular sophmore. However, Bianca's overprotective father forbids her to date until her older sister, Kat, a hostile senior, does. So Cameron sets up a plot in which Joey, the school's most popular guy, bribes Patrick, an outcast senior to take Kat out. What Joey doesn't know, is that Cameron secretly plans to date Bianca, while Joey pays Patrick to take out Kat.

It may sound very confusing, but this movie is funny, cleverly-written, and sentimental. It's fun to watch and is one of my favorite teen movies.

I think that students would be much more interested in learning if the teaching methods included using more innovative and new technological devices. For example, using laptops in every class. Therefore, not only will the students be learning what they need to learn, but also learning to work well with computers, which they will enjoy and also benefit from in anything they choose to do later on. They can use textbooks on cd-rom and browse through edcuational websites that better explain concepts as well as offer alternative teaching methods. For example, dissecting an animal virtually instead of actually doing it in person can make students feel much more comfortable and learn just as much. This will greatly interest students.
